Craig was born in Lethbridge and raised in Nobleford. He received his education at the University of Lethbridge and the Lethbridge College and graduated from the Criminal Justice Program. He worked with the Lethbridge Police Service for 25 years serving the citizens of Lethbridge and southern Alberta. During his employment he saw the importance of customer service and the need for compassion and understanding.

While working as a police officer in Lethbridge, he worked frequently with representatives of Cornerstone Funeral Home. He saw firsthand the professionalism and respect staff gave to those that were in need. These values closely mirrored Craig’s own. Following the passing of his mother-in-law and his father, Cornerstone served his family with dignity and compassion. Craig wanted to be part of this type of working family and began his employment with Cornerstone Funeral Home in 2018.
