I am going to miss Jeff very much as we all will , I recall many occasions at waterton lakes , and the Belly River with Jeff . When I read the adventures in the post's , one in particular came to mind . I was with Jeff , and a number of other close Friends from CCH , We were all connected as freinds for sure ! Lethbridge back in the 80's was Fun ! Now the story We were splunking in the gargantwchen mountain caves , the first time I'd Ever repelled into total darkness in a cave in my life ! We decended 64o vertical feet into the mountain, which required 3 SEPERATE REPELS I wore a CCM hockey Hellmit . We desended at approx 1 am in the Morning , 3 REPELS later at 640 Vertical Feet inside a Mountain to an underground river , we breaked and rested for the accent back . I recalled my turn to Jumar up the 60 ft rope I said to Jeff , " I don't think I can do this " Jeff looked at Me and said , "Well guess you'll just stay here and Die then " lol ? Well I will never Forget Jeff , or our time together . To Jeff's Wife , Family and Son . Love to you all I am blessed to have known Jeff . Douglas Lyle Bickerton class of 80 and wife Amanda.

My deepest condolences to you and to your family on the loss of Jeff. I worked with Jeff in Northern Alberta where he was a leading contributor of his trade. Always made time for anyone and a pleasure to talk to whether it be work related or personal stories of adventure/bike trips! He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of being around him, I will miss him! May the love of family and support of friends bring you comfort during these difficult times. Prayers

Although unheard, I thank you
For always being there.
Even when you were bedridden,
You always seemed to care.
You meant so much to all of us;
You were special and that's no lie.
You brightened up the darkest day
And even the greyest sky.
Many tears I have seen and cried.
They have all poured out like rain.
I know that you are happy now
'Cause you're no longer in pain.
Four years on, Ill remember you
And what you used to say.
You made each of us smile
And live to the fullest each day.
They say in time it gets easier.
I believe this isn't true
Because even after all this time,
I still don't have a clue.
I was not ready to say goodbye.
Your disease just over took,
So on this day we remember you.
I take a second look.
Our friendship is forever.
Until death, did we part.
Although you're away physically,
You're always in my heart.
Today is going to be a painful and sad day as we lay you to rest. Thank you Jeff Olson for loving me unconditionally and always being there when i needed you. I know I could never do as great of a job as you could but i will always watch over your family. Rest well my brother and we will meet again. Love you.

Very sorry that Jeff has passed away. Jeff was very appreciative of his family, and close Motorcycle club brothers. He stated numerous times that he could not make it without them. This especially holds true for Jeff's wife, son, sister, brother in law, his parents, his MCC brothers and Jon W. I appreciate that 6 months that we were able to reconnect. Will not forget you my old friend. Farewell Jeff

I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Jeff for two years up North and he was a master of his trade. Full of charisma and fascinating stories, Jeff definitely lived life to the fullest and inspired positivity in others. He loved to talk about his family, cars, and travels. He was a great mentor to myself and will be missed dearly.

Dear Deb, our deepest sympathies to you and your family. I know Jeff from the motorcycle club. He was the guy that jumped in and helped where help was needed. On one of our photo shoots a rattler came rushing towards me and wanted to take possession of my bike. It was probably attracted by the heat emitted by the engine. Jeff warned me in time so I jumped off and did a one hundred yard dash. But Jeff was not letting that rattler spoil our day but rather attacked and removed that critter with a simple stick. There was no hesitation in him. He tackled it and carried it off. Farewell my buddy, we will meet again.
