Mom passed away peacefully at the Legacy Lodge, in Lethbridge, on Monday, June 28th, 2021, at the age of 94 years. Our mom will be sadly and lovingly missed by her children, Sharon Hammel, Gordon (Sandi) Zacher, Blaine (Luciana) Zacher, Gary (Violet) Zacher and Tammy (Ed) Asuchak, her grandchildren, Harlan and Tracey Hammel, Cindy and Craig Ramsay, Gordon Zacher Jr., Boyd and Bonnie Zacher, Lisa and Corey Holts, Michael and Angela Zacher, Melanie Asuchak, Chanse Asuchak, and Addison Asuchak, as well as her great-grandchildren, Rylan Hammel, Daxon Hammel, Shelbi and Justin Kostiuk, Tyson Ramsay, Jaralyn and Joe Eldridge, Ainsley Zacher, Cortlan Holts, Harper Holts, Alexis Zacher, Jayden Zacher, Gavyn Asuchak and Brody Asuchak.

Mom was predeceased by her loving and adoring husband George and also her son-in-law, Leroy Hammel.
A Prayer Service will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2825 - 32 Street South, Lethbridge, on Friday, July 2nd, 2021, at 7:00 P.M.
A Funeral Mass will be held at ST BASIL'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 604 - 13 Street North, Lethbridge, on Saturday, July 3rd at 10:00 A.M., with Father Derek Remus, Celebrant. Interment will follow in the Mountain View Cemetery.
Both services will be live-streamed at their respective times and may be accessed via Katherine's obituary on the Cornerstone website.
