MR. GEORGE WOO, beloved husband of Mrs. Darlene Woo of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Monday, January 17, 2011 at the age of 78 years. Besides his loving wife, he is survived by his children; Clayton (Lesley) Woo of Lethbridge, Randy (Michele) Woo of Lethbridge and Gina (Barry) Massam of Lethbridge and grandchildren Ida Marie Woo and Kayla Massam. He is also survived by brothers Willie (Margaret) Woo of Lethbridge and Henry Woo of Edmonton, sister Mary Albiston of Lethbridge as well as numerous nieces and nephews, special friend Randy Scott and his pet dog Brandy. He was predeceased by his parents Ida and Ming Woo, sister Jessie Allemekinders and brother-in-law Darrel Albiston. George was born and raised in Lethbridge. He was one of the founding members of the Lethbridge Trap Club and an active member of the Alberta Fish and Game Association. He enjoyed photography, fishing with his sons, loved spending time with his grandchildren and mentoring new members of the trap shooting community, including his family, especially his daughter who won numerous awards under his tutelage. He enjoyed and flourished at cooking later on in life. George will be sadly missed by his family, many friends and especially his springer spaniel, Brandy. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge on Friday, January 21, 2011 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, on Saturday, January 22, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Trevor Potter officiating. Interment to follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
