Aunt Katie was born October 15, 1919 to the late David and Kathrina Stahl, in Freeman SD. She moved to Wolf Creek, Canada in 1931. Four years later she moved to Lakeside Colony where she married her husband Joseph Wipf of 53 years.
Aunt Katie left to mourn her brother; Darius (Sarah): sister Maria (Min. Joshua) of Downie Lake; and Susanna (Paul) of Maple Creek AB. Numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Preceding her in death are her husband; Min. Joseph Wipf: parents David and Katrina Stahl: two sisters; Anna and Elizabeth: five brothers; Joshua, Johannes, Joseph, Jacob and David.
Aunt Katie’s love for Jesus never ceased, she read many books and lived according to God’s Word.
We would like to thank the caregivers that took the time to come and care for Aunt Katie in her later years.
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, September 16, 2012 at 10:00 in the morning at the Lakeside Colony Hutterian Brethren.
God saw the road going rough And the hills were heard to climb. So he looked into her weary eyes And whispered “Peace be thine.”
