ELEANOR CLARA WINDRUM, was called home to her heavenly Father on Friday, March 18, 2016.

She is survived by her loving daughter Catherine (Chris) and granddaughter Brynn of Australia; loving son Robert of Toronto; brother Timothy (Lillian) and their son David of Toronto; dearest sister Greta of Lethbridge; nephew Tim and niece Christine. She was predeceased by her parents, two sisters and a nephew.

A Celebration of Eleanor's Life will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, AB, on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Maury McNeil officiating.

Cremation has already taken place.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Gideons International (http://www.gideons.org/)

Dear Greta, We were so sorry to learn of Mrs. Windrum's passing. She fought so hard this last year especially and so bravely. She was always positive and upbeat. We'll miss her at church, the market. May God comfort you her best friend & sister who has been with her through all this illness. She is now with God where there is no more suffering. We loved and appreciated her strong faith and example. Sorry we missed the funeral. Love and prayers to you and her family too.

I was so saddened to read of Eleanor 's passing .We were dear friends in our earlier days;Eleanor was my bridesmaid for my wedding to Ron August 27th 1960 .Ron has gone home to heaven also: I miss him so very much.They are safe at home in heaven .my love and prayers to You all .Mary Schmalz
