Wilson, Edith May

MRS. EDITH MAY WILSON, beloved wife of the late Mr. Bob Wilson, passed away peacefully at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Friday, November 22, 2013 at the age of 91 years. Edith is survived by three children, Robert (Gloria) Wilson of Regina, SK, Elizabeth Wilson of Coaldale and Stan (Lisa) Wilson of Calgary. She is also lovingly remembered by five grandchildren, Trevor (Rhonda), Darrell, Rochelle (Christopher), Annette (Shawn) and Patricia (Trent); seven great grandchildren, Caitrin, Scotland, Jaycie, Hayden, Natalie, Ethen and Logan, as well two brothers in Newfoundland, several sisters in law and many nieces and nephews. Edith immigrated to Canada in 1948 with her son, Robert, from St. John\'s, Newfoundland to Chemanis, BC to be with her husband Robert. Edith and her husband later moved to Lethbridge, where they had two more children. Edith and Robert spent most of their lives living in Lethbridge. Edith was well liked by all. She had a great sense of humour, an easy smile and a great love of life. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. May she rest in peace. Relatives and friends are invited to a Visitation at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, AB on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 from 1:00 - 1:45 P.M. with an interment to follow in Archmount Cemetery with Rev. Brenda Kersell, officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, #204, 2323-32 Avenue NE, Calgary, AB T2E 6Z3.
