William Eldon Dickey

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of WILLIAM ELDON DICKEY on June 20, 2014.
Born Nov. 6, 1921 in Nokomis, SK, he enjoyed a long a rewarding career in pharmacy in Calgary, AB. He was known as the traveling druggist in Alberta as he enjoyed many years of doing relief work throughout the province.
A life long member of the Masons and OES, he also had great pleasure doing volunteer work and playing tour guide to many visitors to our country.
William is survived by the love of his life, wife Berniece, two sons Robert and James and one daughter Barbara, as well as grandchildren Melissa and William and great grandchildren, Bryston, Colby, Hayden, Noah, Scarlett and Alexander.
He was predeceased by his parents William John and Nellie Dickey and a sister Rae Dickey.
The family wishes to thank Dr. D. Steeves and all the staff of Fairmont Extendicare for the compassion and dignity given to William and his family.
By Dad's wishes there will be no funeral-so please remember him with fondness, love and wonderful memories.
