William (Bill) Eric Myers, beloved husband of Alice of Lethbridge passed away at the Extendicare on Sept. 21, 2009, at the age of 80 years. He is the loving father of sons Don (Ann) Myers John, Nick, Adam, Andrew of Edmonton; Doug (Lynn) Myers Chris, Breanna of Edmonton; daughters Ann (Jerry) McNamara Sheri, Tammy, Dean (Amy) great-granddaughters Kylie, Claire of Medicine Hat; Ruth (Phill) Bygrave Dustin, Angela of Medicine Hat. He is also survived by Helen Myers of Calgary, Howard (Marlene) Myers of Lethbridge, Reg (Marlene) Myers of Calgary, sisters Shirley Areshenko, Marion Greenway both of Lethbridge, sister in law Edna Klein also of Lethbridge. He was predeceased by grandson David McNamara, brother Frank, brothers-in-law Jerry Areshenko and Al Greenway.

Bill was born in Diamond City, Alberta to Ruth & Eric Myers. Bill attended school in Coleman and Lethbridge. He spent his working years at D. McLeod & Sons, Noble Cultivators, and Oliver Industrial Supply. Old Timers hockey kept Dad busy for many years and gave him many years of fun. He enjoyed puttering in his green house and perfecting his begonias and tomatoes. A perfect day for Dad would be spending time with his kids and grandchildren. The family would like to thank Karen Watson RN, BN; the care givers from Greystoke and particularly the staff from Extendicare for their loving care of Bill.

A Service of Remembrance will be held at MCKILLOP UNITED CHURCH, 2329 - 15th Avenue South, Lethbridge, AB. on Thursday, September 24, 2009 at 3:00 P.M. with Reverend Cathy Coates officiating.
