MR. GEORGE EDWIN WICKHAM of Lethbridge (formerly Edmonton) passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Thursday, April 29, 2010, at the age of 85 years.

He is the loving father of Tim (Julaine) of Redcliff, Dennis (Marie) of Lethbridge, and grandfather to; Trevor (Gail) of Red Deer, Lorinda of Lethbridge, Stephanie and Brenna of Lethbridge. He is also survived by the mother of his two grown children, Grace Wickham, three brothers and three sisters, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Syd and Winifred, and his special grandfather Thomas Wickham.

George spent 40 plus years working for S & T Drilling, a job he loved, including a three year stint in Australia. In his retirement years he spent time in Red Deer before moving to Lethbridge, where he spent his remaining years. Special thanks go to the Staff at West Highlands and the 4C wing at Chinook Regional Hospital for all their care and friendship over the past years.

A Service of Remembrance will be held at ST. AUGUSTINE’S ANGLICAN CHURCH, 411-11 Street South, Lethbridge on Thursday, May 6, 2010 at 2 P.M.
