KENT J. WHITNEY, beloved son of Shirley Whitney, of Lethbridge, passed away after a lengthy illness on Monday, January 3, 2011 at the age of 42 years. Besides his loving mother, he is survived by his brothers Carlin (Lori) Whitney of Lethbridge and Darren (Bonnie) Whitney of Calgary, nieces Kate and Samantha of Calgary, grandmother Anna Kambeitz of Lethbridge as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his father Murray. Kent was born July 2, 1968 in Taber where he was raised and educated. Following graduation he entered the oil field profession which took him around the world. Kent often said “live fast, die young and leave a good looking corpse.” He was a hard working, straight forward young man who was taken too quickly from us. He will be sadly missed. A Memorial Mass will be Celebrated at OUR LADY OF THE ASSUMPTION CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2405 - 12th Avenue South, Lethbridge on Friday, January 7, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. with Reverend Tim Boyle, Celebrant.
