JAMES BRIAN (WHITEY) WHITE, of Lethbridge, passed away at the Edith Cavell Care Centre, on Sunday, September 28, 2008 at the age of 78 years. He was predeceased by his parents, Adam and Annie; his siblings, Mollie, Peggy, Betty, Billie and John. He will be missed by his niece, Maureen King (Nina) who cared for him for many years and his remaining siblings, Eileen, Kathleen and Joan. He will also be missed by his niece Ang, who along with his sister Joan, gave so much of their time and loving care during his last years. He was a generous uncle to his nieces and nephews. Brian served in the RCOC in Korea after having been posted to Germany. He was patriotic and well versed in Canadian politics. He presented a plan for parliamentary reform which was ignored. Special thanks to Dr. Doug Myhre, Dr. Cory Toth and staff at the ALS Clinic in Calgary, especially Janice Loeteman and Sue Monroe. Thank you to all at the Edith Cavell Care Centre for caring so well for Brian. At Brian’s request, there will be no funeral service.
