Dad's whole life revolved around supporting his family any way that he could. That being logging in the bush, or driving truck any chance that he got. He believed in community service, as shown by ten years on the East Parry Sound Board of Education. He also served on the Lethbridge County Council for ten years After coming to Alberta in 1980, Dad, started a small shale business, which served the agricultural and farming community in Southern Alberta. This grew into his career for more than 30 years. He enjoyed many holidays to the Southern United States, also loved many trips and campouts with his family.
