WILLIAM RAYMOND "RAY" WEBBER, beloved husband of Joyce Webber, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at the age of 83 years.
WILLIAM RAYMOND "RAY" WEBBER, beloved husband of Joyce Webber, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at the age of 83 years.
Ray is survived by Joyce, his wife of 61 years, his daughters Kimberly (David Calhoon) and Lisa (Rick Gwalchmai), grandchildren Maria Pecora, Claire (Alex) Pecora, Anthony Pecora, Annie Calhoon, Jake (Cassandra) Gwalchmai, Braeden (Maddie) Gwalchmai and great-grandson Bennett. He also leaves behind his brother Dennis (Cecile) Webber, and a niece and nephews.
Ray was predeceased by his parents, Leslie and Nellie Webber, and parents-in-law Johann and Helena Schroeder.
Ray was born and educated in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He married Joyce in 1959. They made their homes in Winnipeg, Calgary and Lethbridge. Ray spent his working years in the lumber industry, most recently Taiga Building Products. He enjoyed golf, curling and participating in a walking group. He also loved visiting "his girls" in Ontario and South Dakota, and having family visit him in Lethbridge.
