It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved CAMERON CHRISTOPHER WEASEL HEAD at the St. Paul's Residence of the Blood Tribe on July 13, 2022.

Cameron was born on April 24, 1992 in Medicine Hat, Alberta. He spent his early childhood in Medicine Hat with his beloved mother Michelle Rose Weasel Head, maternal grandmother May Rose Weasel, aunties Mildred Young Pine-Weasel Head and Yolande Weasel Head as well as with his cousins/brothers. Cameron attended school in Medicine Hat then later moved to the Blood Reserve where he attended Kainai High School. He was a gifted athlete excelling in both Basketball and Football though out his high school years, and was accepted to Team Alberta twice one for football and one for basketball. With hard work and dedication, he was later accepted to Alberta Football League where he played for the Calgary Gators. His family and friends also knew Cameron as a quiet and gentle giant. Cameron was a faithful friend but also a fierce protector especially when it came to his mother and brother. Although he did not have many chances to see his children, he had deep love for them and always had them in his heart and on his mind. He would proudly show pictures of his kids to family and friends any chance he got. Known as "Killa Kam", he loved his Hip Hop music and would often do his rounds with other musicians in the local music scene. Cameron especially liked to practice with his special cousin the late Kyle Weasel Head. He had employment in various jobs ranging from roofing to concrete and was a skilled labourer. He also like to preform by setting up his own concerts performing at various venues around the city and the reserve. He would hand out T-shirts and CD's which he made his self. Cameron had many talents from being a confidante, a gifted musician, and athlete and love to cook big meals for the family. Cameron touched the hearts of his family and friends and he will be greatly missed.

Cameron is survived by his four children; sons Ladanian and Darian; daughters Penelope Nala; younger brother Brett Weasel Head; his mother Michelle Rose Weasel Head; his maternal grandmother May Rose Weasel Head; his great uncle Peter (Wanda) Weasel Head; his maternal aunts Mildred Young Pine-Weasel Head, and Yolande Weasel Head (Joseph Healy); nieces Rosalyn and Aurora; nephews Ezra and Aziel and numerous cousins and friends.

Cameron is predeceased by his great grandparents Raymond and Kathleen Young Pine and Mokakin and Poonah Weasel Head; Grandfather Moses Weasel Head; Father Horace Black Plume; sister Persephony Weasel Head; cousins/brothers Jeffrey Weasel Head and Kyle Weasel Head and Robert Young Pine.
