DOUGLAS ARTHUR WARD, beloved husband of Sonia Ward, of Lethbridge, AB, passed away on Thursday, June 8th, 2017 at the age of 79 years.
DOUGLAS ARTHUR WARD, beloved husband of Sonia Ward, of Lethbridge, AB, passed away on Thursday, June 8th, 2017 at the age of 79 years.
Doug was also survived by his children Nancy (Paul) Spitzer, Mark (Alison) Ward and Helen (Jason Negron) Cretu. Also left to cherish his memory are his grandchildren Victoria, Stephen, Zo? and Hannah as well as his sister Elizabeth "Betty" Hodder, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his sister Joan Reynolds, brother Thomas Ward and half-siblings, Ronald Ward, Walter Ward, Viola Miller.
Doug was a kind-hearted, caring, optimistic and adventurous person. Having lived in Newfoundland, Montreal, Vancouver, BC, Istanbul, Turkey and Lethbridge, AB Doug will be missed by many friends and family members.
A Private Family Service will be held at a later date in Ontario.
