GLORIA "JEAN" VIRGINILLO, (née Triska) beloved wife of the late Nick "Junior" Virginillo, of Coaldale, passed away following complications from a heart attack, surrounded by her family at the Foothills Hospital, on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at the age of 78 years.
GLORIA "JEAN" VIRGINILLO, (née Triska) beloved wife of the late Nick "Junior" Virginillo, of Coaldale, passed away following complications from a heart attack, surrounded by her family at the Foothills Hospital, on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at the age of 78 years.
Jean is survived by her children: Tracey (Guy) Nadeau, and their children Kelsey, Matthew and Carmen; and Sandra (Gerrad) Wauters and their daughter Bailey. She is also survived by her brother Al Triska (Bev Bahler) and sisters Faye Richardson and Donna (Don) Randall. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Jean was predeceased by her parents Joe and Annie Triska, her mother-in-law Liz Wheeler (Virginillo); her sister Marion and sister-in-law Patricia.
Jean was born in Coaldale and spent her entire life in the Coaldale District. She spent her married life in the Readymade Community with Junior and her girls. Jean also spent many years working in dietary at the Coaldale Hospital.
She lived a full life enjoying curling, golf and watching NHL Hockey as well as watching the sports her grandchildren participated in during their school years. After 27 years Mom has been reunited with her one and only love Junior.
A Funeral Service will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2825 - 32 Street South, Lethbridge, AB, on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. with Patrick Siedlecki officiating.
Following the Service, Jean will be laid to rest with her husband, Nicholas Jr., in the Coaldale Community Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to STARS Air Ambulance (stars.ca) or a charity of your choice.
