MRS. VERNA M. BROWN, beloved wife of Mr. Andrew G. Brown of Coaldale, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Saturday, October 17, 2009 at the age of 91.

Besides her loving husband of 70 years, Verna is survived by her children, Darl (Margaret) Brown, and Marilyn (Andy) Zwaagstra. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Carin (Richard) Plischke, Heather (Dave) Talen, Glen Brown, Sheri (Peter) Gilbert, and great-grandchildren, Ryanne & Caden Gilbert.

She was a loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her main joy and devotion in life was her family, friends and her faith. She will leave a hole in everyone’s heart.

Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, AB., on Thursday, October 22, 2009 from 7:00 - 8:00 P.M.

A Funeral Service will be held at FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH, 1614 - 5th Avenue South, Lethbridge on Friday, October 23, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. Interment to follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
