BENNIE VAN WIEREN, passed away at the St. Michael's Health Centre, Palliative Care Unit, on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at the age of 62 years.

Bennie is survived by his sisters Grace Andre (Don), Rose (Larry) Myers and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his parents Abeline and Ben Van Wieren, Sister Shirley "Squirrel".

Ben was a loving brother and uncle, born in Holland and came to Canada with his parents and siblings in 1958.

He loved to be outdoors, camping, and sitting by a campfire while drinking a Budweiser. Ben spent a lot of time with family and friends.

Ben worked for McNally Contractors for many years, thoroughly enjoying every minute of it, everyone he worked with took a liking to him almost instantly.

The family of Ben would like to thank Andy and the Coaldale EMS, nurses on 4C, Melissa from home care, and all the staff and doctor's at St. Michael's Palliative Care for their care and compassion.

At Bennie's request no formal funeral service will be held, he only asks that you have a beer in memory of him.
