1942-2022 - CASEY VAN MAANEN passed away peacefully with his family by his side, on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at the age of 80 years.
He was well loved for his humour and generous spirit by Gerda, his loving wife of 59 years, his daughter Anne-Marie (Bryan), his son Michael (Diane), his grandchildren: Casey, Claudia, Hailey, James and Ryley, as well as extended family and many great friends.
He was a hard-working man with a big heart, a voracious reader, an expert on many things, and a huge animal lover. He also loved to travel and enjoyed a happy hour full of banter.
His wish was always not to mourn him, but to celebrate his life with a good party. Cremation entrusted to Cornerstone Funeral Home.

May the peace and comfort of God be with everyone who loved my uncle. I will miss our monthly calls, talking about everything and running for at least an hour, till we had to stop because I had to go sleep or he had to go : to his friend Sobat,or get bread and/or mail So special all the cards we received often with a lot of clippings from papers about all kind of subjects, things he thought would interest you. He was faithful in this mission ,I pray he will have a home with our faithful God
