KEN VAN ESVELD, of Lethbridge, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Tuesday, May 24th, 2016 at the age of 55 years.
He is survived by his son Jeremy Van Esveld, of Calgary, as well as his father Gerald Van Esveld and his two sisters, Willetta (Andy) Oudman and Joanne (Henk) Van Roekel, all of Lethbridge, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Ken is also remembered by his girlfriend Patty Zielke.
He was predeceased by his daughter Melissa Van Esveld, his mother Winnie Van Esveld, and his brother Henry Van Esveld.
Ken was born December 11, 1960 in Lethbridge. He was a hard working farmer in the McNally area. Ken thoroughly enjoyed his home on the Shuswap. Spending time on his boat on the lake was a favourite pastime. He was proud to be a volunteer firefighter for Tappen Fire Department. Ken was a good father who cared a lot about his family. He will be sadly missed by his family and many friends.
A Funeral Service will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, Alberta on Tuesday, May 31st, 2016 at 10:30 A.M. with Reverend Terry Shillington officiating. Interment to follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
