VALERIE CHRISTINE BERNS (Heater), beloved wife of Andy Berns of Lethbridge, passed away after a lengthy courageous battle with cancer at the Chinook Regional Hospital with family by her side on Saturday, August 9th, 2014 at the age of 50 years.

VALERIE CHRISTINE BERNS (Heater), beloved wife of Andy Berns of Lethbridge, passed away after a lengthy courageous battle with cancer at the Chinook Regional Hospital with family by her side on Saturday, August 9th, 2014 at the age of 50 years.

Valerie was born September 9th, 1963 at the Holy Cross Hospital in Calgary Alberta to Reuben and Sylvia Heater. Valerie was the oldest sister to brother Glen Heater and sister Stephanie Bradley. Valerie had three children the oldest son Chris Berns along with his wife Brittany and grandson Brady. The middle Daughter being Tabitha Berns. The youngest daughter Tiffany Sommerfeldt with her husband Chase and Grandson Nixon.

Valerie is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, brother and sister in laws and nieces and nephews.
