MRS. ANNIE HELEN TRISKA, beloved wife of the late Joseph Triska, passed away from complications following surgery, surrounded by her family on May 11, 2013 at the Chinook Regional Hospital. Annie was born in Lipov, Czechoslovakia on October 1, 1923. She immigrated to Canada when she was 5 years old, with her mother Agnes and sister Jennie to reunite with their father George Tomsic. She lived her entire life in the Coaldale area. Annie married Joseph Triska, and together raised 5 children. Annie is survived by her children, Albert (Bev Bahler), Jean Virginillo, Faye Richardson and Donna (Don) Randall, 7 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, sisters-in-law Gail Tomsic, Anne Triska, Elsie Sawcyn, brothers-in-law Shig Kitagawa and Mike Sawcyn, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Annie was predeceased by her husband, Joe, daughter Marion, parents Agnes and George Tomsic, sisters Agnes Kitagawa and Jennie Svrsek, brother George Tomsic, daughter-in-law Patricia Triska, and son-in-law Nicholas (Junior) Virginillo. A special thanks to all of Annie\\\'s friends who have spent time with her over many years of friendship. Also a special thanks to her long time doctor, Dr. V.J. Luykenaar. A Private family interment will be held prior to the Celebration of Life.
