Trentini, Morris Ray (Moe)
It's with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Moe at his home after a brief illness.
It's with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Moe at his home after a brief illness.
He will be missed by all that knew and loved him and by those who were like family to him,
Moe leaves to mourn Dale (Pat) Trentini, Janet Nyari, Darlene (Leo) LeRoy, Larry (Gloria) Trentini, Reno (Jane) Trentini, Mitch Trentini, also Ken (Bev) Dorchak, Frank (Margo) Dorchak, many nieces, nephews and cousins, and a very special friend Val Stubbert. Moe was pre-deceased by brother Glen.
Moe was a loving, kind and caring person, He touched many lives, He was a local hairstylist who worked in Alberta and B.C., and had travelled in his younger years to countries like Japan, He told many interesting stories of his travels, especially when he accidentally dropped his new $500 leather, designer boots over the fairy railing when the horn sounded while travelling from Vancouver to Victoria. Moe took life lightly and he was an optimist-extraordinaire. He made people laugh and he was a one-of-a-kind person. We will miss him beyond words.

I lived in Calgary for many years and always looked forward to a rollicking good time getting my hair cut from Maurice .
I feel blessed just knowing you and sharing some laughs. Especially at Val's house parties and sitting on the deck. We all sure laughed! Happy journeys Moe, RIP Jackie Herron.
Sorry you have left Moe. I will miss your laugh your smile and your wit. I have many great memories but wish there was time to make more. Love you forever
Very sorry to hear of Morris' passing. I know we haven't seen each other in a very long time, but that doesn't mean that family forgets
There was only one Moe. We met Moe when he rented our basement suite. From a tenant to a friend was a short move. A quick 'hi' to a glass of wine in the back yard, to a seat in the salon, or on the tee box, he was so real, so genuine and so funny. We miss our laughs, taking the grandkids for a Moecut. Moe was special and real and we were so lucky to have had him as a friend.
I was very shocked & saddened to learn of the sudden passing of Moe - I always looked forward to seeing him at my hair appointments. Although he wasn't my personal stylist he was always sure to include me & anyone else in the general area in his conversations & jokes. He was truly a "people" person, a trait I really admired & wished I could emulate more. My heart breaks for his family, friends & loved ones at this sad time. I'm sure, however, wherever he is now there's joyful chatter, laughter & no one feels left out. Happy Trails Moe, SYOTS!
I first met Moe (a.k.a. Maurice by his Calgary friends), in January of 1984. We travelled together to Japan and Hong Kong that same year, and to be with him on his first international trip was so much fun. We became neighbours and good friends over the years, and what I remember most about him was his love for music, movies, cooking, and Christmas. Boy, did he love decorating a Christmas tree, and dressing up for Halloween! We lost touch for awhile when he moved to Lethbridge, but through a chance meeting with Marj and Diane Whitlock a few years ago, we reconnected. Moe kept in touch often by phone and text. We had a great conversation in February with some other long time friends from Calgary, and we shared quite a few laughs. We are so fortunate to have had that exchange with him. Moe, I wish you safe travels on your next journey. You will be missed by many. My condolences to the Trentini family.
