Tony is survived by his wife, Brandi Penney; his parents, Betty and Terry Penney; his brother, Dan Penney; and his in-laws, Gordon Freimark and Geraldine Boser and family.
He was predeceased by his grandparents, David and Evelyn Martin, and Ralph and Rita Penney, and his close friend, Ossie.
Born to Betty and Terry Penney, Tony was a man of quiet strength and generosity. He was a devoted husband to his wife Brandi, with whom he shared many adventures. From proposing in Paris, to camping and quading in the mountains, Tony lived life to the fullest. He also adored his loyal dog, Sadie, who was always by his side.
Tony worked as a truck driver, oilfield swamper, carpenter, and custom harvester. He was known for his strong work ethic and quick sense of humor.
He was a kind and thoughtful man, always putting others first. Tony was quiet, but his actions spoke volumes—whether through small gestures of generosity, listening to others, or making people smile with his humor. His friends and family will deeply miss his presence.
A Celebration to honour Tony’s life and share memories will be held at the COAST LETHBRIDGE HOTEL & CONFERENCE CENTRE, 526 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, AB, on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at 3:00 P.M. with Pat Siedlecki officiating.
