KAZ TOMOMITSU, beloved husband of Marjory Tomomitsu, passed away peacefully at the Chinook Regional Hospital in the early morning of Friday, October 21, 2022 at the age of 86 years.

In addition to Marj, Kaz is survived by his daughter Tamara (Michael and grand-dog Oscar), brother Mas (Carol) and brothers-in-law Rick (Teri), Lloyd (Marion), Don (Maureen), Kiyo (Toki) and sister-in-law Irene (Paul), along with numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and friends. He is predeceased by his father (Haruichi), mother (Itoko) and sisters Sue, Reiko and Pauleen.

A sports enthusiast, Kaz could often be found at the Hurricanes' games or sitting in front of the television watching his beloved Blue Jays. In the summer, he was a fixture at the golf course often using colourful language and his signature line, "last hole ass hole". He also enjoyed coffee with friends and playing pool and cards at the Norbridge Seniors Centre.

A Visitation will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2825 - 32 Street South, Lethbridge, AB on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 from 3:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M.

A private family service will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2022.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers and koden, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society (cancer.ca) or charity of your choice.

My condolences to Marjory and all of the family! Kaz and I had great conversations at the dealership whether it be about a new vehicle for his wife, sharing golf memories, or memories of ball players he used to coach from my hometown of Pincher Creek! Every story brought a smile and a laugh! God speed my friend!

Reid Hollander, October 26, 2022

Our sincerest sympathies on Kaz's passing. Throughout the years growing up at the 2 Avenue B North house, Bob has many memories of Kaz coming and going next door to the Yamagishi house. Then all those Hurricane's games, chatting in lines at the 50/50 draw table and we both remember hearing Kaz's name come up as the winner at least once or twice. We'll be among many people missing his cheerful greeting on the concourse at the Enmax.
