Derek was a genuine friend and outstanding person. We first met in Elementary School and he was a close friend throughout school. We always joked about him being our bodyguard, but unlike Hulk he never resolved a conflict because he was never in one. He lived up to his dream of being a Tonka driver and simply helping others. I wish we could've talked more in recent years, but your caring soul and fun personality will still be missed. Until we see eachother again, big guy!
