Emily “Win” Tobin, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2012 at the age of 84 at home surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of the late Gerry Tobin, sister to Eric Nicholson, Rosemary Harkins and the mother of Tony (Frances), Angie, Chris (Myreene), John (Susan), Terry (Jackie), Trish (George), Nicky (Brian). Nana to thirteen grandchildren, Noeleen (Michael), Gerard (Carol), Gerard , Danny (Louise), Andrew, Vicki (David), Aaron (Stacy), Kerrie (Dane), Lorianne, Mark, Christine, Mary, and Kevin, ten great grandchildren, Marycora, Joshua, Hannah, Chloe, Matthew, Jack, Jacob, Paul, Anna, and Kai. Mum was Queen of the home and Queen of our hearts. She was a loving presence in all our lives and a joyful champion of her family’s accomplishments. She had a zest for life, unquenchable curiosity and delighted in God’s creation. She will be forever missed and joyfully remembered by her family and all who knew her. A Prayer service will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, on Sunday, May 13, 2012 from 7 :00 to 9:00 pm A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, May 14, 2012 at 10:00 am at ST. BASIL’S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 604-13th Street North, Lethbridge, with Reverend Tim Boyle Celebrant.
