19/02/1948 - 09/11/2021 It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather on Tuesday, November 9, 2021.
Left to mourn; his beloved wife of 51 years, Marilyn; his precious children of whom he was so proud of: Christopher (Alisa), Cari, and Michael (Sheena); and his four treasured grandchildren Blake, Spencer, Ashley and Dawson.
Bob spent most of his life working hard on his family's farm to provide for his dear family. He was an excellent steward of the land and an intelligent and innovative businessman, keeping the farm successful though both good years and bad. Following the marriage of his oldest son, he graciously stepped aside to allow him a beginning. From there, he and Marilyn relocated to Lethbridge and he started a successful career with AFSC. Here he met many great people and was highly respected by both his colleagues and the clients he served.
He truly enjoyed and was extremely proud of his children and grandchildren. He always took an interest in everything they did and helped them along the way. Bob was a genuine, selfless man, caring more about his family than himself. He would often put his own needs last. A truly humble person that will be so sorely missed and forever loved.
In honouring Bob's wishes, there will be no funeral service.
Cremation entrusted to Cornerstone Funeral Home, with interment to follow in Mountain View Cemetery.
