TERRY DANIELS

We are sad to announce the passing of our husband, brother, son and grandfather TERRY DANIELS at the St. Michael’s Health Centre, Palliative Care, Lethbridge after a courageous battle with cancer on Saturday, April 19, 2008 at the tender age of 55 years. He is survived by his loving wife Karen Little Light of Lethbridge, siblings Rudy Daniels, Beatrice Daniels and Betty Ann Daniels, all of Manitoba. He also leaves behind his loving children Lance (Rhoda), Melvin (Chaz), Jason, J.R., Cory, Carrie (Cody), Tasha and Dillion McMaster. He is predeceased by his father, mother and siblings. Terry was very active in pow-wow activities and strongly believed in native spirituality. Terry and his loving wife and lifelong friend Karen were always seen walking throughout the numerous trails of Calgary. He loved to meet his friends on his numerous journeys and loved to make new friends with everyone he met. He was known to be a very kind and generous friend to everyone. His passion of artwork can be seen in different provinces across Canada. Terry also loved to hike to new locations in his many journeys. He will be lovingly missed by all who knew him. Terry was a proud member of his native heritage; Sioux, Soto and Ojibwa. We are sorry if we missed anyone’s names. We will be bringing Terry home to Swan Lake, Manitoba and will hold a Wake and Funeral Service at a later date. When the family returns to Alberta, we will be holding a Memorial Service in Calgary to honour his memory. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 317-10th Street South, Lethbridge, AB, T1J 2M7.
