November 6, 1944 - December 26, 2011 Jack Templeton, beloved husband of Vi Templeton of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 26, 2011 at the age of 67 years after a courageous battle with cancer. Jack is survived by his devoted wife Vi; loving children, Deanna (Trevor) von Rothkirch, Sheryl (Grant) Beaver, and Trevor (Alexis) Templeton; adoring grandchildren Hannah and Tyler von Rothkirch, Brittany and Zachary Beaver; sisters Joy (Don) Jack and Mary Ann Jones; and numerous extended family. Jack, born in Calgary, spent his youth in several southern Alberta towns but finally settled in Calgary where until retirement he called home. During his life Jack worked for several banks including ATB Financial which he was with until his retirement in 2002. In retirement Jack and Vi enjoyed their travels and especially their time at Weirs Beach on Vancouver Island. Jack’s family and friends will always remember his love of RVing and golf, two of his true joys in life. Jack had an immense love for family and he was overjoyed to spend time with his children and grandchildren.
