On October 2, 2011 we lost a great father, grandfather, husband, and friend to many.
JACOB TEICHROEB will be sadly missed and cherished in the hearts of his loving and devoted wife of 55 years on December 29th, Betty; his loving children: Jackie (Ken) of Lethbridge and Scott (Cindy) of Calgary; his adoring grandchildren: Phillip and Melissa; and his loving sister, Mary of Swift Current, Saskatchewan. Jacob was predeceased by his parents, Peter and Anne, and his four brothers: Pete, John, Hank, and George. Jacob was a proud member of the Canadian Armed Forces for 26 years. His career began on March 3, 1953 when he first joined the Armed Forces in the Air Force Division as an Air Frame Technician. He knew the framework of many aircrafts inside and out. On October 22, 1979, Jacob retired from the Canadian Armed Forces and continued to work as a Commissioner for the next 10 years. A special heartfelt thank you to the doctors, nurses, and staff on Units 4B and 5B of the Chinook Regional Hospital for their compassionate care of our father and husband.
