Stryker, Rosina "Rose"

ROSINA "ROSE" STRYKER of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late Glen Stryker, passed away on Friday, May 15, 2015 at the age of 95 years.
Rose was born on February 17, 1920 in Yugoslavia. She immigrated to Canada with her parents and two sisters in 1934 and settled north of Manyberries, AB. She married Glen Stryker in 1947 and settled on a farm south of Orion near Pakowki Lake until retiring in Lethbridge in 1980. In 2011 and due to deteriorating health, Rose had to move into Fairmont Extendicare in Lethbridge.
Rose is lovingly remembered by 3 sons; Alfred (Wendy) of Medicine Hat; Stanley (Wanda) of Coaldale and William (Gladys) of Orion as well as 4 grandchildren; Chad (Megan) Stryker; Becky (Blayne) Dixson; Tim and Candace Stryker and 5 great-grandchildren. Rose is also survived by one brother, George (Doreen) Bechtloff of Medicine Hat and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her loving husband Glen, her parents Karl and Anna Bechtloff and her sisters and brothers-in-law; Minnie (Adam) Jetter and Emma (Earl) Stryker.
A Funeral Service will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, AB., on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Thomas Peterson officiating. An Interment will follow in the family plot at Mountain View Cemetery.
