Anna was born on a farm in Medicine Hat to Henry and Maria Miller. Mom's life mostly consisted of raising her five children, who were born within six years of each other. Until running water and electricity came along, she worked many long tedious hours. When her children were mostly grown, she worked in various restaurants as waitress and cook. She adored her family, and was most happy when some or all of them visited her.
Thanks to the loving, caring staff at Fort McLeod Extendicare where mom lived for the past seven months. Also, to Dr. Brewer and the nurses on 4th Floor at Regional, who took such good care of mom in her short stay there.
There is no formal funeral by her request .
