Jack was passionate about life and cherished his friends and neighbours. He loved meeting his friends for morning coffee and dancing at the Lethbridge Senior Citizen’s Organization. So many ladies will remember the roses from his garden that he gave just to make them feel special.
Jack was born near Mortlach, SK., on August 8, 1921, the fifth of seven children born to Joseph and Alberta Stevenson. He served with the R.C.A.F. during WWII as an Air-Frame Mechanic, stationed mostly at Tofino, B.C.
Throughout his excavating career, he made many friends in Southern Alberta and they remained close throughout the years. He touched all of our hearts with his caring, generosity and fun-loving spirit.
