SHEILA MAE SPRINKLE, beloved wife of the late Earl Sprinkle of Lethbridge passed away at St. Michaels Health Center - Palliative Care Unit on January 3, 2016 at the age of 80 years.
She was the loving mother of Tom (Sandra) Sprinkle of Wabamum AB, Darrell (Linda) Sprinkle of Lethbridge, Debbie Sprinkle of Medicine Hat, and grandmother of Nathan Sprinkle , Alisha (Jessen) Collingridge of Stoney Plain AB, Natasha Sprinkle (& son Jaydon) of Spruce Grove, Jaimee Sprinkle and Jordan (Amy) Petherbridge (& daughter Lilly) of Lethbridge AB. Sheila is also survived by long time friend Kay Reid and sisters-in-law Shirley (Doug) Ober and Carol (Sonny) Miller. She was predeceased by her youngest son, Keith Sprinkle, her late husband Earl and adoptive parents Clara and Guy Harris.
Born December 23, 1935, as Marjory Franke, Sheila was adopted and raised by Guy and Clara Harris in the area of Chin. She met Earl and they married when she was 17 and they farmed and then began a family a few years later. They were blessed with three sons and a daughter. Together they survived the tragic loss of their youngest son. Sheila was a very nurturing woman who loved her grandchildren with abandon and was especially close to her local granddaughter, Jaimee. After being widowed Sheila also became a doting cat "owner" and found great comfort in spoiling Hemi. A gentle and kind soul, she will be missed. The family would like to express sincere gratitude to all the staff at St. Mike's Palliative Care Unit.
A private family service will be held.
In Memory of Sheila donations may be made to the Jack Ady Cancer Center c/o Chinook Regional Hospital 960 19 St. S Lethbridge, AB T1J 1W5
