LESLIE MICHAEL SMOLNICKY passed away peacefully at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Friday June 22, 2012 at the age of 53 years. Leslie is survived by his mother Julia Smolnicky, his sisters Rita (Stan) Wiersema and Elizabeth (Brett) Davis, and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He is predeceased by his father Leslie Nick Smolnicky. Leslie had a love for life and people. He touched us all and our time with him was marvelous. Leslie was compassionate, thoughtful and an honorable man who loved his family and animal companions. There will be a celebration of Les’ life at the LETHBRIDGE SENIORS CENTRE, 500-11 Street South, Lethbridge, on Saturday, July 14, 2012 from 2:00 to 4:30 PM. Flowers are acceptable or a donation to the charity of your choice.
