MR. MATTIS “MATT” CLARENCE SLAVICH, beloved husband of Joan Slavich of Lethbridge, passed away at the St. Michael’s Health Unit on Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at the age of 89 years.

Matt is survived by his loving wife Joan, son Michael (Beatrice) Slavich, daughter Susan (Barry) Sarazin and 4 grandchildren; Jennifer (Chris) Laing, Robert (Tara) Slavich, Christopher (Cheryl) Sarazin and Michael Sarazin, 4 great-grandchildren; Tyler Sarazin, Andrea Laing, Isabelle Laing and Paige Slavich, as well as nieces, nephews and their families.

Matt was predeceased by his parents, Metro and Barna Slavich, brother, Steve Slavich and 2 sisters, Margaret Roach and Ann Aitken.

A Private Family service will be held at Mountain View Cemetery.

A Veteran’s Tribute will be offered by the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #4.
