HELEN SKIPPEN, beloved wife of Keith Skippen, of Milk River, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Wednesday, May 20, 2020 at the age of 90 years.
Besides her loving husband Keith, Helen is survived by her daughters Linda Selk of Milk River, Connie (Larry) Ainscough of Milk River and Donna Brower of Medicine Hat as well as five grandchildren: Rhonda (Matt) Wolske, Gordon (Stacey) Ainscough, Amber (Cory) Gretzinger, Jennifer (Travis) Kobly and Cole Brower, granddaughter-in-law Tanya Selk and nine great-grandchildren: Hailey and Carter Wolske, Lucas Selk, Claire and Elliott Ainscough, Brinley and Easton Gretzinger and Gannon and Levi Kobly.
She was predeceased by her parents Ed and Mary Dittman, brother Bill Dittman, sons-in-law Loren Brower and Clark Selk and grandson Brad Selk.
Helen was very active in her church and community. She was proud to be a life-member of the C.W.L. Her accomplishments were too numerous to mention. Helen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be sadly missed.
A Private Family Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Peter's Catholic Church with Father Salvador Ahumada celebrating. Interment will follow in Milk River Cemetery.
In memory of Helen, donations may be made to the Milk River Health Centre (Box 90, Milk River, AB, T0K 1M0), HALO Air Ambulance (12-49 Viscount Avenue S.W., Medicine Hat, AB, T1A 5G4) or to a charity of one's choice.
