JOHANNA MARIA SIKKING, the beloved wife of the late William Sikking, passed away in Lethbridge on Saturday, December 11, 2021, at the age of 92 years.

JOHANNA MARIA SIKKING, the beloved wife of the late William Sikking, passed away in Lethbridge on Saturday, December 11, 2021, at the age of 92 years.

With Love and sadness we announce the passing of Johanna Sikking on December 11th, 2021 at 92 years of age, with her family by her side. Johanna was born in Enschede, Holland on December 4th, 1929.

Johanna was predeceased by her loving husband of 66 years William, Her parents Martinus, Hermina; Her siblings  Coba, Corrie, Arnold, Jon, Sietske, Kees and Wim.

Johanna and William moved from Holland to Canada in 1958 and settled in Lethbridge to raise their family. Johanna was a stay at home Mom for her 4 children as well as a foster mom for many kids. She loved to bowl as well as singing in the sweet Adelines choir for many years.

Johanna is survived and dearly missed by her loving family:   Her four children, ten grand children , four great grand children as well as her younger sister Betsy. Son’s- Henry ( Christopher, Sydney ) of Lethbridge, John (Sharon) ( Breonna, Benjamin), ( Madison, Donavan), ( Alexis, Brett),( Emily) of Okotoks, Len ( Melanie) ( Sean), ( Nicole, Jesse) Of Hamilton,  And Daughter Joyce ( Amanda, Andrew), (Clayton, Gina) Of Lethbridge. Great Grandchildren ( Layson, Aspyn, Ashir, Mia)

Johanna will be sadly missed by her family and many friends.

The Funeral Service will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2825 - 32 Street South, Lethbridge, on Saturday, December 18th, 2021, at 1:00 P.M., with Patrick Siedlecki officiating.  Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.

The service will be livestreamed and may be accessed via  Johanna's obituary on the Cornerstone website.
