Her dedication and loyalty was demonstrated in this position as she worked for them for over 44 years.

One of Sheri’s favorite activities was getting up early in the morning, sitting on her deck, with something warm to drink and listening to the birds. When she wasn’t taking long walks with Rich and her dog Bailey, Sheri would often be found creating art, crafting, gardening and baking. She liked to try new recipes, and give treats to friends and family, especially around the holidays. Sheri loved being by the ocean, and visitng the Oregon Coast was a favorite destination.

Sheri was known as a wonderful care-giver. Being of service to friends and family, especially in their times of need, was one of Sheri’s great callings in life. We could always count on her for support, love, and positive encouragement. She had an excellent sense of humour, and liked to play pranks as much as she enjoyed games. Sheri’s spontaneous nature made her a lot of fun to be around and was known to say “Well, get your shoes on, let’s go!”

Sherilyn was a vibrant soul, deeply devoted to her roles as daughter, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, step-mother and partner. She will always be remembered with love by her partner Rich, sisters Linda and Heather, brother-in-law Terry, step-daughter Charlotte, nieces Leya and Jennifer, and Jennifer’s husband Chance and daughter Gracie. Sheri holds a special place in many hearts, including her many friends and extended family.

As per Sheri’s wishes, no funeral service will be held.

Sheri was a delight. I feel so blessed to have met her and to spend a little time together. I pray Jenn, Heather, and Terry are comforted by sweet memories.

Our deepest condolences to all of the family and friends Sheri has left behind. While I had only met her briefly, she was a source of both grounding and light for her dear sister, Heather, who we both hold very dear. Sending some sunshine for the hearts of those left behind as they continue their journey without Sheri.
