DOROTHY G. SHAW, of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late Stanley Shaw, passed away peacefully at St. Michael's Health Centre on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at the age of 100 years.
DOROTHY G. SHAW, of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late Stanley Shaw, passed away peacefully at St. Michael's Health Centre on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at the age of 100 years.
She will be dearly missed by her family; John (Mary), Daniel (Paula), Wendy Vogel, David, Mark (Sharron),Robin (Margaret) as well as 13 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents, brother and 5 sisters.
A prayer service will be held at ST. BASIL'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 604 - 13 Street North, Lethbridge, AB on Wednesday, July 5th, 2023 at 7:00 P.M.
A Funeral Mass will be held at ST. BASIL'S CATHOLIC CHURCH on Thursday, July 6th, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. with Father Kevin Tumback celebrating.
Flowers gratefully declined. Donations may be made to the All Saints Catholic Church Building Fund.

I did not find out about the passing until tonight, I'm very sorry for the families loss. I will forever miss her contagious laugh, pushing her in her wheel chair down for meals, our hug goodnight when I was able to take care of her as an hca and playing bingo. She was an amazing lady, a pleasure and honour to take care of. Again very sorry for your loss. She will be missed.
Dorothy was a ray of sunshine on the front desk of the office building for St. Michael's Hospital and always had time for everyone that walked through those doors. My prayers and thoughts are with the family at this time.
I remember Mrs. Shaw as a very caring housemother when I was in nurse's training at St. Michael's Hospital. Condolences to her family.
