Sharon is survived by her husband, Brian Oliver; daughters, Rhonda Cioffi (Cheech), and Renae Kapala (Dave); and granddaughter Alexis Cioffi; as well as her mother Rose Karpiuk; sisters: Shirley (Larry) Sera, Janice (Dave) Racz; and brothers Rick (Bonnie) Karpiuk, James Karpiuk and Peter Scott.

Sharon is survived by her husband, Brian Oliver; daughters, Rhonda Cioffi (Cheech), and Renae Kapala (Dave); and granddaughter Alexis Cioffi; as well as her mother Rose Karpiuk; sisters: Shirley (Larry) Sera, Janice (Dave) Racz; and brothers Rick (Bonnie) Karpiuk, James Karpiuk and Peter Scott.

She was predeceased by her father Alex Karpiuk and sister Arlene Kremenik, who will greet her with open arms.

Sharon was born March 22nd, 1952 to Alexander and Rose Karpiuk. She grew up in New Dayton, Alberta and moved to Lethbridge where she met and married Brian in 1972. Their family grew with the addition of two daughters. She enjoyed spending most of her time gardening, golfing, playing cards, cooking and baking.

Sharon will be remembered by all for her beautiful smile, creativity, and great sense of humor.

Our family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses and doctors at the Jack Ady Cancer Centre, Chinook Regional Hospital, and St. Michael’s Palliative Care Centre for their wonderful care and support. The family will be holding a Celebration of life gathering on Saturday, October 25 from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. at the PARKBRIDGE ESTATES COMMUNITY CENTRE, 2920 29 Avenue South, Lethbridge, AB. Please feel free to stop by to share a good story and some laughs with us.

Just heard about Sharon's passing. I'm so sorry. I recall vividly her wide smile and her famous baseball swing that looked more like a golf swing! Had so much fun playing slow pitch with her and the other girls! My deepest condolences to her family. Barb Lamont
