She is survived by sons, Joseph and Peter (Sylvie), granddaughter Meghan McDermid and sister Sandra Moore as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

Sharon was predeceased by her parents, Allan and Mary Doughty, and brother Robert (MaryAnn) Doughty.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at OUR LADY OF THE ASSUMPTION CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2405 – 12 Avenue South, Lethbridge, AB, on Saturday, July 5, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. with Father Santiago Torres celebrating.
A private Family Graveside Service will be held.

Sharon McDermid was a kind, considerate and generous grandmother. I know her and my grandfather are reunited in Heaven looking over our family. You will be forever missed.
