Scout Anderson, Andrea Gail

Scout Anderson taught me when she was a missionary in NC. I was an investigator. She took me aside and told me about someone she knew who felt unworthy like me, but found the Gospel. Because of this dear sister, I chose to get baptized Aug. 15, 1999z she is near and dear to my heart.❤️

I first met Andrea by accident. My sister and I were on our way to a church youth dance and were accidentally dropped off at the wrong stake center. In turned out to be a blessing in disguise because Andrea and her big boat of a car happened to be there at the exact moment we needed a ride. We became instants friends and kept in touch over the years. I was fortunate enough to have been with Andrea the Sunday before her passing. We sat outside on her lawn chairs in the cold brisk wind and talked about life, family, and the gospel. I gave her a big hug and told her how much I loved and appreciated her as a person and friend. She quietly smiled and said the same back to me. I will dearly miss you Andrea and I eagerly look forward to the day when we meet on the other side, give you another big hug and continue our conversation. Until then, rest in peace my friend and enjoy paradise!

Andrea has such a beautiful smile - you couldn't help but smile back! No matter where she worked, she was always courteous and helpful. She will be missed by her daughters, her parents, her siblings and her extended family and friends. Till we meet again

We are heartbroken at the loss of Andrea. In her life that was cut short, she became and did so much in the face of many challenges. She was truly an inspiration. We send our love to her parents and family and we pray for them and take part in their mourning. We also pray for blessings on those who will care for Andrea's children.

We both loved Scout so much and know that she is in the loving arms of Heavenly Father. We will miss her but know that we will see her again. We offer our condolences to family and friends who are grieving at this time.
