FLOYD VERNON SCOTT, beloved husband of Dianne of Lethbridge, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital, on Monday, December 7, 2015 at the age of 70 years.Born in Tisdale, Saskatchewan to Robert and Irma Scott, he lived most of his life in Lethbridge, Alberta.Floyd was a passionate and fun loving man who never ceased to enjoy life. He worked as the Regional Administrator for Parks and Recreation, Fish, Wildlife and Environment until his retirement in 1999. In his retirement he was able to pursue his loves of fishing, camping, music and family get-togethers.Floyd was extremely loving and proud of his four children, Cinette (Angelo), Barbara (Ken), Angela (Mark) and Calvin (Leah). He is also survived by his wife and best friend, Dianne (Mathieu) Scott; his two sisters, Ellen and Gladys, his brothers Alvin (Ida), Sidney (Bernice) and John (Bev); his nine grandchildren, Autumn, Leanna, Alison, Diara, Aimee, Angelina, Teagan, Shea and Griffin as well as his many loving friends and special canine companion, Beamer.He was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Irma, his brother, Fred, and his sister, Anne.The family would like to thank Dr. Hunt, Dr. Imbulgoda, Dr. Smuts, Dr. Ireland, Dr. MacKay, Dr. O'Brien, as well as the wonderful nurses and remaining hospital staff on 4C for their amazing care of Floyd while he was in hospital.Family and Friends are welcome to attend a Visitation at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, AB., on Friday, December 11, 2015 from 7:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M.A Celebration of Life will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 4:00 P.M. with Deacon Ray Wagner officiating.Memorial donations may be made in Floyd's name to the Jack Ady Cancer Centre, 960 - 19 Street South, Lethbridge, AB, T1J 1W5

Please accept our sincere sympathy for the loss of Floyd. He must have been a wonderful husband and Father because you are such a fine family.
My thoughts and prayers to Calvin and family. Floyd always showed tremendous patience with Calvin, Craig and me when we were kids playing at the Scott's, and I always felt welcome in that home.
