We had the pleasure of meeting you and Curtis one time at a rooftop in Chicago (Hotel Palomar). You and another couple were preparing to attend some baseball games, and Curtis provided a Miller Genuine Draft and endless entertainment. Curtis had a long lasting impact on us! His jokes, stories, human spirit and heart were first rate. My colleague Marc and I often recite a few of his quotes at work. We were discussing it today at work and saw the obituary. I was so sorry to read of Curtis' passing. He was coach in Little League to my son Jamie. And what a coach! He coached the plays and, better yet, to have fun. So many kids would have a better time if there were more coaches like Curtis, always a smile and words of encouragement (with a joke on the side). He will be so missed!

Darka and Family , I am so sorry to hear of Curtis's passing. Everytime we saw each other, he took the time to talk with me a few minutes, say something funny , always ask me how I was, and always made me laugh. The first time I ever met you two was at a New Years Eve do , at Tom and Julies Pub. Before he got up to do karaoke he asked me what song I would like , and sure enough he knew it.
