ALEX SCHUMACHER, beloved husband of Ruth Schumacher of Lethbridge, passed away at St. Michael's Health Centre on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at the age of 86 years.Besides his loving wife, he is survived by Leonard Parkinson of North Battleford, SK, Linda (Jim) Sartison of Coaldale, Judy Strojwas of Taber, Dean (Elaine) Schumacher of Lethbridge, Denise (Jim) Thiessen of Red Deer, AB, nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.He is also survived by two sisters, Lucy Rauw and Clara Tutt, one brother-in-law Orale Peterson and two sisters-in-law, Rita Peterson and Lil Peterson.At Alex's request no formal funeral service will be held.In memory of Alex and in lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the St. Michael's Health Centre, 1400-9th Avenue South, Lethbridge, AB T1J 4V5 or to the Alzheimer Society, #402, 740 - 4th Avenue South, Lethbridge, AB, T1J 0N9
