In sadness and sorrow, the beloved family of Chalise "Apamaki" (Overseas Woman), announce the passing into the Happy Hunting Grounds of everlasting life.
Chalise leaves behind her only child, Kayleb (Fox) Scalplock, her twin Dallon Harold Scalplock, her mother Esther June Healy and her father Irvine Scalplock. Chalise was predeceased by her sisters Charmayne Shade-Henry, Melanie Rose Healy and Tanya Dawn Turning Robe, and adopted sister Carmen Turning Robe, her brother Ryan Healy, maternal grandparents Harold & Jean Healy.
In 2005, Chalise graduated from Lethbridge Collegiate Institute. She was a friend to everyone as she was an outgoing person who loved to travel the Pow Wow Trail and meet new friends. Chalise was a well-known Traditional Dancer and competed all over Canada and the United States travelling with her Scalplock family of traditional dancers.
When Chalise danced, she danced with admiration alongside her mother Esther, father Irvine, twin brother Dallon and late sister Charmayne. Chalise will always be remembered throughout the Pow Wow life, her legacy will be carried on by her family and most importantly through her son Kayleb, where she gleamed with pride as he is a Champion Chicken Dancer.
Chalise looked forward to attending the Calgary Stampede every year where she and her siblings would represent their grandparents Harold & Jean Healy tipi at the Indian Village. She was a strong believer in the Siksika Culture and her parents instilled her the Siksika Traditional Teachings.
A Public Wake / Visitation will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2825 - 32 Street South, Lethbridge, AB, on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, attendance will be limited to 20 guests at a time. Kindly RSVP your attendance to Cornerstone at 403-381-7777 or care@cornerstonefh.ca Facemasks are mandatory and will be available upon entry.
The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. The service will be live streamed and may be accessed via Chalise's obituary on the Cornerstone website.
Chalise and her sister Charmayne will be laid together beside their grandparents at One Spot (Old Agency) Cemetery.

My sincere condolences to Her family. Chalice was a beautiful friendly free spirited woman ever since childhood. My fondest memories is coming up the hill to visit the girls. Virtual hugs to her son, Brother and her parents Esther and Irvine.
I am very sorry to hear of the sad news about Chalise. I was Chalise and Dallin's teacher at Arrowwood School when they were in grade one. My sympathy to all the family at this sad time.

Extending my sincere sympathies to all of you. I was one of Chalise and Dallon's grade 3 teachers and have fond memories of a kind and gentle young lady.
Chalise is a great loss to her family and friends. She was a lovely gentle young woman. I am very sad for her loss.
