Derek became a member of Lethbridge Lodge #2 Independent Order of Odd Fellows from a desire to be part of and involved with an organization whose community involvement spans to Lethbridge's foundation more than 130 years ago. Derek will be sorely missed by all those who were privileged enough to have known him. On behalf of the Noble Grand of Lethbridge #2 Brendan Wiggers, its members, and on behalf of myself and my executive of the Grand Lodge of Alberta, Independent Order of Odd Fellows, we wish to express our deepest condolences to Derek's friends and family as he engages our last degree.
